Windsor Park Estates is located in Harris County and was primarily built between 1990 to 1994. I love how it offers a rare combination of upscale appeal, mature landscaping, and convenience. The community was primarily built in the early 1990s, so you’ll find mostly large, traditional-style homes on generous lots (many averaging around 18,000 sq ft) with mature trees, well-kept yards, and a real sense of neighborhood identity. Plus, residents have access to the Recreation Center at Shillington Drive and Fry Road (which has an Olympic-size swimming pool and two tennis courts).
The location of this neighborhood is a major strength: the neighborhood places you closer to the Energy Corridor, major employment hubs, shopping, and dining while offering a quiet, residential atmosphere. With George Bush Park accessible for trails, nature and recreation, the feel is both upscale and relaxed.
You’ll enjoy living here if you want a luxury neighborhood with large homes, mature lots, a strong sense of community and a shorter commute into Houston. However, being close to George Bush Park, it is adjacent to a 100-yr flood zone and a few homes may have flooded during the once-in-a-lifetime event called Hurricane Harvey.
